Textile Design is a vast and deep study of the subject resulting into a finished product which is followed and adopted by a layman, qualified, professionally qualified and people from every segment in their day to day life.
- Textile Design incorporates the designing of the fabric by using different old, modest and advanced techniques comprising of weaving, printing, ornamenting fabric, print techniques, tracing, embroidery, colour matching, knitting and basics of dyeing & printing.
- Textile Designing is study of conceptualizing innovative designs based on different themes through sketching & animation.
- Textile Design includes traditional and modern or mixed imaginatory designs on the fabric in view of market and people’s choice.
- Textile Design is also a study of construction and production of different segments of fabrics by using old and modern techniques.
- In today's time, the hand painting, block printing and screen printing is widely used and accepted on fabrics, which is also taught in textile design.
- Textile Design study is a broad study of understanding and explaining the personalities through fabrics & clothes, keeping an eye on every aspect like type of fabrics, theme, weather, time, fashion trend, geographical conditions of areas and country and above all - customer’s choice.
